Work History

1996-2000     B&B Quality Tool

Job shop where I began my career, was quickly trained to do my own setups and inspections. Was rapidly made responsible for the production and design of specialty machines and close tolerance details for automotive, aerospace, medical, and printing industries.

2001-2002   Moore Quality Tooling

Die making shop where I was first exposed to stamping and press work. Tasked with detail production, die section sharpening, assembly, disassembly, repair of die sections, punch sharpening, etc.     

2002-2004     UMAT Inc / MVP

Both job shops where I was tasked with producing detail work and production jobs. My first experiences with true three axis machining and production work. Was promoted to lead toolmaker in the milling department of MVP producing most of the small run government contractual jobs.

2004 – 2020   Neidhart Tool – Lead Toolmaker/Designer Job Shop where I presently work for the same contractor/mentor I trained under at B&B Quality Tool. Responsible for all CAD/CAM operations and manufacturing of most of our shop work. Tasked with training of employees, production, repairs and troubleshooting, customer support, machine maintenance, design, and quote review.

2020 – Current Ernst Metal Technologies

Engineering Technician originally hired as design support. After 3 months of training with SolidEdge learning company standards and best practices, my role was expanded to include support of our CNC department. Led change in all aspects of machining. Serviced and repaired twin spindle Okumas, changed departmental standards to improve sustainability and working conditions. Improved programming and reduced production cycle times. Implemented and improved quality processes.
